My name is Milena. I am the knitwear designer behind this small one woman business Milena Pauliina, since 2022. I was born and raised in Finland, where winters are long and cold, so it's no wonder, that much like in other Nordic countries, knitting is deeply rooted in the culture. I have been practicing the craft since childhood, and my earliest woolly memories, are from the age of 6. Growing up, I kept the yarn and needles close, doing mostly small projects every now and then for fun. It was not until I moved to Switzerland, in 2018, that I started diving deeper into the world of knitting patterns, and immediately set my goals to design knitwear myself one day. After some years of doing my own research about knitwear design and pattern writing, I was finally brave enough to release my first pattern, in late 2022. Since then, there's been no looking back. I am passionate, committed, and hungrier than ever, to keep taking on new challenges, and providing fun knitting patterns, for all levels of knitters.
