SIZE GUIDE:
Measure your bust circumference to know which size to knit.
The sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) are equivalent to sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL). They correspond to chest measurements of approx. 70-75 (80-85) 90-95 (100-105) 110-115 (120-125) cm [28-30 (32-34) 36-38 (40-42) 44-46 (48-50) in]

For a mini length approx: 500 (550) 600 (650) 700 (750) g. Aran weight Cotton, 85 m / 50 g. (I-cord = approx. 40-70 g of the total)
2 strands of yarn are held together throughout the project, including the I-cords.
The suggested yarn held double is category 5: Bulky / 7WPI.
Note: The given yarn consumption varies depending on the yarn of choice and the length of choice. The estimates in this pattern are calculated according to the minimum consumption of my test knitting team.
ADDITIONAL:
- Scrap yarn for temporary straps
- One stitch marker
- Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
GAUGE:
11 sts / 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 in] in stockinette using 8.0 mm [US 11] needles
SUGGESTED NEEDLES:
8 mm [US 11] circular needles (80 cm [32 in]) 2 x 7 mm double pointed needles for the I-cord
Note: It’s important to make a test swatch before you begin to make sure you meet the gauge. Change the needle size if needed.
WORKFLOW:
The Summercore dress is worked seamlessly in stockinette stitch from top down on circular needles.
The front and back are worked separately in flat and increases are made towards the armholes.
New stitches will be added to the underarms and the work is joined in the round.
From there the body is worked straight down to any desired length.
You will finish with i-cords to create contrasting edges and straps.
I recommend using two double pointed needles for the i-cords, but circular needles will also work.
Enjoy this pattern and happy knitting!
