ABOUT TEKLA TOP: 

Tekla top is a light and soft cashmere camisole, designed to have a relaxed fit, deep open back and a ruffled hem detail. Tekla top works on it's own and styled over other garments for a layered look.

SIZE GUIDE:

Tekla is designed to have a relaxed fit. When you are choosing which size to knit, measure your bust circumference and choose the size that is closest to your own measurement.

The sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9 are equivalent to sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL. They correspond to the chest measurements of approx. 71-76 (81-86) 91.5-96.5 (101.5- 106.5) 111.5-117 (122-127) 132-137 (142-147) 152-161 cm [28- 30 (32-34) 36-38 (40-42) 44-46 (48-50) 52-54 (56-58) 60-64 in] 

The Tekla top can easily be sized down for a more fitted look by knitting it one size smaller. The hem circumference is double the bust circumference when stretched to the maximum.

MATERIALS:

Approx. 75 (100) 100 (125) 125 (150) 175 (175) 200 g. Superior Cashmere, Pamir Fine Fibers, 105 m / 25 g.

Note: The estimated yarn consumption might vary depending on the yarn of choice. My testers used different yarn weights from Light Fingering to DK and ended up within +/- 20 g from the estimation.

GAUGE:

In Stockinette using 3.5mm [US 4] needles. 25 sts / 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 in] Worked in flat and measured after wet blocking

SUGGESTED NEEDLES:

3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles (60 & 80 cm [24 & 32 in])

2 x 3.5 mm [US 4] double pointed needles

Note: The given needle size is only a suggestion. It is important to make a test swatch before you begin to make sure you meet the gauge. Change the needle size if needed. 

WORKFLOW:

Tekla is worked from top down on circular needles.

The front is worked in flat followed by back increases.

Afterwards new stitches will be added for the mid-back, your work is joined and the body is worked in the round.

Finishing touches include a ruffled hem and an i-cord edge, along with i-cord straps.
